Dr. JoAnn Yanez

JoAnn Yanez, N.D. currently serves as head of Government Relations for the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians www.NYANP.organd is a passionate advocate for wellness, prevention and access to high quality healthcare services . Dr. Yanez is regularly called upon to represent state and national organizations at conferences and has presented to US Senators, Congressmen, Governors, State elected officials and experts in the fields of medicine and health. Her persistance in building coalitions of corporations, individuals and elected officials is driven by her hope to reform healthcare to a wellness based model. She was awarded the 2006 Legacy Award from her medical school and 2007 NYANP Physician of the Year award for contributions to the community at large.
